Ideas of Inspiration
Ask any individual who is effective in whatsoever he or she is doing what inspires him/her, and extremely likely the answer will be " goals". Goal setting tools is extremely important to motivation and success. What exactly motivates you? Why are you in college or university? If you are in college since that's what your parents need, you may find hard to motivate yourself. Sure, it's possible to succeed with somebody else providing the motivation for you. (" In case you graduate from college, I'll give you a car! " or more serious " Understand what graduate from college or university, you won't get yourself a car. " ) But motivation contained in within actually makes the big difference. Theories have already been developed through the years as to what motivates us and the ones theories are what I want to discuss.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
Maslow showed little interest in dog or laboratory studies of human behavior. He decided to go with instead to collect data intended for his hypotheses by learning outstanding individuals. His studies led him to believe that people have specific needs, which are unchanging and genetic in origin. These kinds of needs are exactly the same in all civilizations and are both physiological and psychological. Maslow described these needs to be hierarchal in nature, and therefore some requirements are more standard or more highly effective than other folks and as these needs are satisfied, various other higher requirements emerge.

Herzberg Cleanliness Theory
Herzberg found the fact that factors triggering job satisfaction (and most probably motivation) had been different from individuals causing job dissatisfaction. This individual developed the motivation-hygiene theory to explain these results. He called the satisfiers motivators and the dissatisfiers hygiene elements, using the term " hygiene" in the sense they are considered protection factors which have been necessary to avoid dissatisfaction yet that independently do not give satisfaction.
